We believe as Instructors we need to continue our training as well so we are dedicated to taking Continuing Ed Instructor classes each year and attending seminars/conferences in the firearms industry with different instructors to master our skills and keep up with any changes in techniques or training.

1. Your Instructors are Scott & Tricia Collins along with Josh & Donna Paulson. We are all Certified Instructors & Range Safety Officers that believe in the 2nd Amendment, believe in protecting our family and others. Our Government and Law Enforcement, while much needed, can't and won't always protect us or look out for our best interests so we need to surround ourselves with other like minded people.
2. We are not in this just to give you a certificate, make $$ or play a numbers game. This is a family friendly class. We do this because we have a passion to help others learn to use a firearm and protect our 2nd amendment rights. We are not militant at all. We want to have classroom discussions while learning proper firearm safety and the laws of NC. We want you to feel confident when leaving our class that you have the knowledge needed to feel confident with your Handgun or having earned your Conceal Carry certificate or any other Class discipline Certificate we teach. We also want you to feel you can contact us at any time for questions and concerns. We want to stay in touch with you and network with like minded people.
3. Our concealed carry course was submitted and was approved by the NC Justice Academy and we also use USCCA Concealed Carry material. We have many class discussions with hands on learning practical's. We also give you a copy of the Concealed Carry handgun training red book by the NC Justice Academy, which is very important to refer to when you leave class if needed.
4. We teach NRA classes, We Partner with & teach USCCA Classes, We Partner with & teach NSSF Classes and we also have a few Classes that we've put together based on requests, suggestions and other Instructor training we have had over the year.

We have many different reasons for forming OldSchool Protection. 1st We trust in God for all our provisions. We also know that God wants us to work and provide protection for our family. With this in mind we want to educate other's as well. Too many people are depending on our government. Our government is not there to take care of us and obviously, by the headlines in the news and the way the world is going, they are not taking our best interests to heart. This is why we think we need to take a stand with like minded people and learn to protect and provide for ourselves.
