The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience.
This is the best way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting, (handgun). This should be your first class before CCH if possible. If you've already taken CCH and still need basic pistol training this is the class will help you. This class will help you be familiar with Pistols and give you some fundamentals to build on.
We will teach you.
-Essential gun safety rules
-Different types of pistols, handgun
-The basics of ammunition
-The fundamentals of pistol shooting
-Pistol selection and storage
-Different shooting positions
-The most common shooting errors
-Proper gun cleaning and maintenance
-How to maintain your skills
This is all day 8 hour class with range time. We provide gun and ammo but you will also shoot your gun if you bring one.
Per Person $110.00
Couples that sign up together $200.00
Additionally, students will complete live fire training and will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination and receive a course completion certificate.
